Regulator Servicing
Rec2Tec Divings equipment servicing and repair centre, is opperated by manufacture trained and dive industry qualified technicians. All serviced equipment is normally available for return to the customer within 7 working days, however this time may increase if parts are unavailable or if demand for servicing is high during peak seasonal periods.
The servicing procees:
- Equipment booked in
- Equipment checked against manufactures setting
- Hoses fully stripped and cleaned
- All hose o-rings replaced
- Inflator schrader inspected and cleaned
- SPG cleaned and tested
- Only official service kits used
- Bench tested to manufacturers specs
O2 Clean is a three stage cleaning process:
- Hot soapy water
- Ultrasonic clean with regulator cleaner / dedegreaser
- Ultrasonic clean with 02 cleaner
- Parts rinsed with distilled water
- Dried
- Three stage inspection process:
- Magnified under white light
- UV light
- Filter paper swipe test
We recommend that you have your equipment serviced well before you need it for that important dive trip and dive it before you go, as regulators in particular can settle and may require a final adjustment to achieve optimum performance.
