Instructor Lead PADI Specialties
The following courses are available as instructor lead specialties, you will receive the PADI training material and interactive theory classes with a Rec2Tec Diving instructor. The in water or practical hands on elements will be completed as soon as pandemic restrictions allow.

PADI Wreck Diver
This course is an introduction to wreck diving, and will show you the skills and techniques required to wreck dive.

PADI Junior Divemaster Course
The PADI Junior Divemaster course teaches you to be a leader. Through knowledge development sessions, water skills exercises and workshops, and hands-on practical assessment, you will develop the skills to organise and direct a variety of scuba diving activities. Topics and practical workshops include:
- The role and characteristics of the PADI Divemaster
- Supervising dive activities and assisting with student divers
- Diver safety and risk management
- Divemaster conducted programs and specialized skills
- The business of diving and your career
- Awareness of the dive environment
- Dive setup and management
- Mapping an open water site

PADI Gas Blender
Being a gas blender is a key job at a busy PADI Dive Centre or Resort. This course teaches you how to blend enriched air nitrox and helium-based gases using one or more blending methods.

PADI Equipment Specialist
This course is intended to familiarise divers with the operation and maintenance of equipment. It is not an equipment repair course.
